FOUNDATION

The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Foundation raises crucial funds to develop the Gallery's Collection and present major exhibitions and community-based public programs, including regional and children's programs.

Support the Gallery

With support from generous individuals, the corporate sector and Queensland Government, the QAGOMA Foundation has raised over $100 million since its establishment in 1979, enabling the acquisition of more than 7,000 artworks – more than 40 per cent of the Gallery's Collection.

The QAGOMA Foundation is led by President, Tim Fairfax, AC , and Patron, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey, AC , Governor of Queensland.

Your donation to the QAGOMA Foundation helps us deliver the art, exhibitions and programs that the Gallery is renowned for. For example:

  • $500 creates purpose-designed mounts for display and conservation of important works
  • $200 provides toddlers and their parents with a free one-hour art workshop
  • $100 supplies activity materials such as scissors and glue for our free Children's Art Centre activities

You can make a contribution by filling in and submitting the donation form below or contacting the Foundation:

All donations to the QAGOMA Foundation of $2 or more are tax deductible and are receipted accordingly by the Gallery.
