Patience Hodgson is a Brisbane-based performer, event producer, and community organiser with a flair for creativity and connection. Known to many as the charismatic frontwoman of indie rock band The Grates, Patience brings the same bold energy and heartfelt enthusiasm to her work in community engagement, youth arts, and live events.

Over the years, she has co-owned and run beloved local haunts like Southside Tea Room and Death Valley, and helped power festivals, neighbourhood gatherings, and grassroots initiatives across Brisbane. Most recently, Patience worked as a community organiser, where she led projects that brought people together through music, food, and care.

Whether she's on stage hyping up teen performers or behind the scenes coordinating logistics, Patience’s joy is contagious — and she’s never met a microphone she didn’t like.
