SYNOPSIS

‘Seductive, brave, daring. Marina Abramovic has redefined the art of performance for the last forty years. Through her body, the Serbian artist creates a provocative work that thrills all who see it. The documentary follows the artist while she is preparing for what could be the most important moment in her life: a great retrospective of her work in the Modern Art Museum in New York. Achieving that one of the greatest museum of the world organizes a retrospective is the best thing that could happen to an artist. But for Marina is much more than that: it is the chance to respond to all of those who, for four decades, have been constantly asking if this is truly art.’ National Cinematheque, Mexico
