SYNOPSIS

Libeled Lady will screen from an imported 35mm print.

‘Faced with a libel lawsuit against the newspaper where he works, Tracy’s ace reporter recruits his colleague William Powell to undo the damage. Litigious socialite Myrna Loy, called a home wrecker in the press, will now be tempted by a “married” man in order to make the story true and the lawsuit baseless. A sparkling ensemble comedy in which Tracy holds his own admirably.’ UCLA
