SYNOPSIS

‘An old man living on the shores of a remote lake in Kyrgyzstan makes a living by digging graves and toilets for a wealthy businessman who seemingly had stolen his wife and sons many years earlier. One night the old man decides to take revenge and sets off on his battered motorcycle with a shotgun to kill his boss. However, his plans are thwarted when he accidently knocks down a mysterious young woman wandering about the scrubland. He takes her back to his small rundown house and tends to her wounds. An unlikely relationship begins between the two and the lonely old man begins to fall in love with his strange and silent patient…’ Asian World Film Festival
