SYNOPSIS

An astutely observed drama detailing the beguiling relationship between controversial Archibald Prize-winning artist Adam Cullen and Erik Jensen, the 19-year-old journalist hired to write Cullen’s biography. Daniel Henshall and Toby Wallace’s performances as Cullen and Jensen capture both the tenderness and turbulence at the heart of their enigmatic dynamic. In his debut work as film director, actor and theatre director Thomas M Wright examines the immense talent and violent tempest within the celebrated Cullen, as well as the wreckage the young Jensen had to traverse in the wake of their complex relationship.
