World Science Festival Brisbane

In partnership with Queensland Museum's World Science Festival, the Australian Cinémathèque presents 'Science Frontiers' — a thematic film program in which mathematicians and scientists test the limits of the known universe – either here on earth or at the edges of outer space. The program charts the development of space in popular cinema and depicts scientists and explorers pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Presented by the Queensland Museum, the World Science Festival Brisbane takes place between 22 and 26 March 2017 and will bring some of the world's greatest thought leaders to Queensland, showcase local scientists and performers from around the Asia Pacific region, and host the brightest and the best from previous events in New York.
