Tune in and draw along in these virtual workshops with artist Dr Bill Platz. Discover tips for approaching drawing and take inspiration from artworks in ‘European Masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’. You’ll be virtually transported to Bill’s studio and invited to draw from live costumed models. Session 2 | Laying in Dry Ground The life studio can be a dry, dusty place with chalky plaster casts and anatomical models lurking in cabinets and corners. Learn a bygone technique for preparing your paper surface and experiment with variations of tone, light and shadow to breathe life into your drawings.
