Virtual: Draw Along Through the Ages

Tap into your creativity at home and take inspiration from artworks in QAGOMA’s Collection, in this 2-hour workshop hosted by artist Dr Bill Platz. No matter your skill level, this virtual workshop is for you! In this session, go on a journey through the ages by learning approaches to collage, frottage and montage. Drawing from a live model, you’ll create characters and stories by drawing, cutting and pasting using the simple tools you have on hand. Materials required: * Variety of paper — including basic white paper — and paperboard (cereal boxes and other packages or posterboard or card) * Pencils and erasers * Scissors * Glue (white glue, paste, glue stick) Optional materials: masking tape, crayon, soft pastel These workshops are designed for all skill levels, from beginner to expert.
