In this talk series, meet guests who are working to disrupt narratives of the past and re-write histories. Hosted by Rhianna Patrick (IndigenousX).

Should artists be political commentators? Abdul Abdullah highlights the role that art can play in the political discourse, and considers whether artists should be using their work as a platform to challenge the status quo.

Abdul Abdullah is an Australian multi-disciplinary artist. As a self-described ‘outsider amongst outsiders’ with a post 9/11 mindset, his practice is primarily concerned with the experience of the ‘other’.
