Australian Art Course

10.15AM Sat 6 Jul 2019
GOMA | Cinema B | Ticketed

Across three Saturdays in July, this course will provide you with an in-depth look at Australian art.

From ancient rock art to the digital image, Australian art has a long and compelling history. Presented by Angela Goddard, Director, Griffith University Art Museum, this course offers a thought-provoking look at aspects of Australian art history, with our Collection as a guide. Each session will feature a lecture, followed by a Q&A with an Australian artist and interactive discussions to further explore and debate ideas relating to the session’s theme.

This course is designed for all art knowledge levels. All attendees will receive a course pack containing complementary readings and resources. Ticket price is inclusive of all three sessions – 6, 20 & 27 July.
