About

The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art Children’s Art Centre and Regional Services will present the interactive program APT9 Kids on Tour. APT9 Kids will include a number of interactive artist projects exploring exhibition themes from APT9, including the preciousness of life and natural resources, the importance of community, and storytelling.

This free program will be presented in January - April 2019 across more than 100 regional and remote venues throughout Queensland and Torres Strait (see listing below) and will run concurrently with QAGOMA’s exhibition ‘The 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’ (APT9) and APT9 Kids.

APT9 Kids on Tour will provide children and families throughout Queensland with the opportunity to enjoy APT9 Kids at their local venue, enabling children to experience and explore contemporary art from Australia, Asia and the Pacific through a range of activities.
