Help us shape upcoming exhibitions in the Children’s Art Centre! Join QAGOMA staff for a special workshop trialling interactive activities in the school holidays.

Exclusive to Members’ families and friends aged 4–12 years. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver at this program.

What to Expect

This event is for Young Members aged 4-12 and their families. Please contact members@qagoma.qld.gov.au in advance of the program if you have any access requirements or queries about the event. Find out more about Accessibility at QAGOMA and planning your visit.

Participation and content

  • Attendees are encouraged to participate in conversations with fellow attendees and the facilitator. You can participate in discussion, ask questions, or just listen.
  • For health and safety reasons, children must wear shoes while walking in the gallery spaces
  • This event has a capacity of 25 attendees

Sensory aspects

  • No amplified sound will be featured during the event.
  • Chairs with backs will be available.
  • The Gallery air conditioning is set to 21°C to conserve the artworks
  • This event will be photographed/filmed by QAGOMA staff. If you do not wish to be photographed/filmed, please advise a QAGOMA staff member on arrival.
