About
In 1883, young aristocratic British artist Harriet Jane Neville-Rolfe travelled to visit her family on Alpha Station in central Queensland. Over the next two years she recorded informal observations of daily life on the station, producing a number of the alluring watercolours featured in the International Collection display ‘Plenty’.
Join two of Queensland’s contemporary artists - Vernon Ah Kee and Luke Roberts as they discuss Neville-Rolfe’s influence, and their personal perspectives on the artworks.
Hosted by Geraldine Kirrihi Barlow (Curatorial Manager, International Art, QAGOMA).
Free, no bookings required. Seating will commence at 11.15am at the QAG Lecture Theatre.
