QAGOMA, home of the Brisbane International Film Festival, is proud to host a special Screen Queensland industry event with crew from the forthcoming major feature film Monster Problems, now filming in Queensland. Open to all Queensland screen practitioners, this sessions is an exclusive panel event featuring Allegra Clegg (Executive Vice President, Physical Production, Paramount Pictures), Dan Hennah (Production Designer), Duncan Jones (Location Manager) and Roderick Smith (EVP, Production Finance) The discussion will include topics such as: *How the art department, along with production and location teams, plan and create the environments seen on the big screen *How and why a location is chosen *The integral work the location department does with the design department to create cinematic magic *How the designer and production team work together to decide whether to build a set on stage or shoot on location This event is free, with RSVP via Eventbrite essential for entry.
