About

Located in Highgate Hill, Onespace Gallery presents and sells contemporary art from a diverse range of emerging, mid-career and established artists whose work informs, stimulates and challenges. Join Onespace Directors John Stafford and Jodie Cox and some of the exhibiting artists for a private viewing and introduction to their summer exhibition, ‘Shiver’. No Australian animal or marine creature captivates our national psyche more than our apex predator — the shark. ‘Shiver’ brings together a group of Australian artists of various backgrounds — including Australian First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) artists and artists with Polynesian, Chinese, Japanese, or European heritage — whose work will challenge our preconceived understanding of this creature and spark conversation about broader environmental issues. Free for QAGOMA Members / RSVP essential, places limited / Book online or phone 07 3840 7278
