Learn how to make the most of your QAGOMA Membership and participate in our art loving community! We invite both new and longstanding Members to come along for a talk and an informal tour, on which you’ll discover more about your galleries, their facilities, and all that membership has to offer.

Whether you are a new or longstanding QAGOMA Member, or are considering joining the Gallery, this event is for you! Participation and content

  • The orientation will commence in the Members Lounge, located on the Upper Level of QAG, where we will talk through Membership benefits and events. Afterwards, we will go on a walking tour of the QAG and GOMA buildings, highlighting key facilities.
  • Attendees are encouraged to participate in conversations with fellow attendees and the facilitator. You can participate in discussion, ask questions, or just listen.
  • You are welcome to come with a friend or by yourself. Many people attend the Gallery solo.
  • This event has a capacity of 12 attendees

Sensory aspects

  • No amplified sound will be featured during the event.
  • We try our best to minimise sound in the space, but sometimes there might be low level noise from a nearby artwork or the sounds of the Gallery.
  • Chairs with backs will be available.
  • The Gallery air conditioning is set to 21°C to conserve the artworks
