Xylouris White is the musical collaboration between Greek singer and laouto player George Xylouris and Australian drummer Jim White, best known for his work with Dirty Three and Venom P Stinger.Since the release of their debut album Goats (2014), Xylouris White have toured extensively across Europe and the USA. In 2017, their second album Black Peak (2016) was nominated for an ARIA award for the Best World Music Album. Their third album, Mother, released in January 2018,combines Cretan folk music, improvisation and free-jazz. Known for their energetic and beguiling live shows, this will be their first performance in Brisbane.
