Melbourne-based New Zealand artist Sarah Mary Chadwick is known for her haunting and intimate vocals. The former vocalist and guitarist from cult grunge band Batrider, Chadwick has released three critically acclaimed albums since launching her solo career in 2012. Her recent release Roses Always Die (2016) was lauded by musician Henry Rollins as a 'beautiful and insightful collection of songs, achieving a poignancy which is distinct as it is rare'.
