Experience the wonder of 'Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company' on an exclusive guided tour before GOMA opens to the public.
With surprises around every corner, the exhibition explores the 70-year legacy of The Jim Henson Company’s characters and imaginative worlds, brought to life by innovative puppetry that transports us from the everyday to a place far more extraordinary. During your tour, you may even catch a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes as the Gallery 'wakes up' for the day.
After the tour, enjoy a delightful morning tea at GOMA Bistro by the river. As a bonus, you'll be able to revisit the exhibition later that same day at your own pace.
Itinerary:
- 8.45am – Meet outside GOMA front entry for check-in
- 9.00am – Tour commences inside exhibition
- 10.00am – Tour concludes, followed by morning tea and time to re-visit the exhibition at your leisure
Inclusions:
- 1-hour exclusive guided tour of ‘Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company’ before the Gallery opens to the public, led by QAGOMA’s experienced art guide.
- Morning tea voucher at GOMA Bistro – includes a sweet treat from the cake cabinet and your choice of tea or coffee.
- Complimentary same-day ticket to re-enter the exhibition (last entry before 4.00pm; GOMA closes at 5.00pm).

- Meet outside GOMA
- Please arrive by 8:45am to check in and meet your guide. The group will enter GOMA at 9.00am sharp and the tour will last for 60 minutes. Please note: doors lock once group has entered, and latecomers will not be admitted.
- Please wear comfortable footwear.
- A free cloakroom service is available to store backpacks and suitcases.
- Please note that food or drinks (including water) cannot be consumed in the Gallery.
- This tour is recommended for ages 16+.
- During the tour, please stay close to the group and your guide. After the tour, you're welcome to re-visit the exhibition at your own pace with your complimentary same-day ticket.
- Bookings are essential and must be made at least 7 days in advance.
