About
In this workshop for QAGOMA Members you’ll create your own miniature apple pendant and poison bottle out of polymer clay with artist Andree Young. Taking inspiration from the ‘Fairy Tales’ exhibition, you’ll transform your miniature sculptures into wearable art by adding jewellery attachments. We’ll bake one of your creations on the day so you can wear it home; and you’ll receive instructions for baking the second sculpture in your oven at home.
All materials, tea & coffee provided / Places limited, book early to avoid disappointment. No experience required. This workshop is suitable for adults and teenagers.

About the facilitator
Andree Young is a self-taught artist with a passion for creating polymer clay miniatures. Andree’s interest in modelling fondant cake figurines as a child developed into a lifelong obsession with sculpting on a miniature scale. Andree enjoyed ten years of teaching polymer clay modelling to many enthusiastic, young sculptors on a weekly basis while raising her own three children. Creating wearable, hand-sculpted miniatures in the form of polymer clay jewellery for Itsy Betsy Shop has been her focus in recent years.
