About

In this school holiday workshop for people aged 13–19 years, create your own miniature ice cream charms using polymer clay and transform them into a keyring, necklace or earrings. Experiment with different colour combinations and fun toppings including sprinkles, chocolate chips and fruit – all created from polymer clay! We'll bake one of your creations on the day and provide instructions for baking your other projects in your oven at home.

This workshop is designed for people aged 13–19 years old. All materials are provided. Suitable for all skill levels.

About the facilitator

Andree Young is a self-taught artist with a passion for creating polymer clay miniatures. Andree’s interest in modelling fondant cake figurines as a child developed into a lifelong obsession with sculpting on a miniature scale. Andree enjoyed ten years of teaching polymer clay modelling to many enthusiastic, young sculptors on a weekly basis while raising her own three children. Creating wearable, hand-sculpted miniatures in the form of polymer clay jewellery for Itsy Betsy Shop has been her focus in recent years.
