Delve deeper into┬áQAGOMA exhibitions and displays at our monthly lecture or tour, and then catch up with friends over lunch at the hatted GOMA Restaurant. ÔÇÿSetting the Stage' looks at artists who reflect on the theatrical stage within their work, drawing on its construction, aesthetic language and purpose. The exhibition was conceived in conjunction with the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF 2019) and brings together works across various media that use sets, props, costumes and staging. Join Amanda Slack-Smith (Curatorial Manager, Australian Cin├®math├¿que & Artistic Director, Brisbane International Film Festival) for an introduction to this exhibition and a broader discussion about film as an art form.
