Delve deeper into┬áQAGOMA exhibitions and displays at our monthly lecture or tour, and then catch up with friends over a two-course lunch at the hatted┬áGOMA Restaurant. In this behind the scenes lecture, we invite the QAGOMA Exhibition Designers Grace Liu and Megan Franks to explain the inspirations and design solutions that underpin the realisation of our major summer exhibition. The team will talk through a number of key works in ÔÇÿWaterÔÇÖ including, Olafur EliassonÔÇÖs vast Riverbed landscape featuring more than 100 tonnes of rock through which a stream of water flows, Cai Guo-QiangÔÇÖs Heritage, a waterhole surrounded by 45 life-size animals, and William ForsytheÔÇÖs The Fact of Matter, a cloud of suspended gymnastic rings to navigate rising tidelines.
