About
Book for the lecture only component of our monthly Lunch & Lecture. Join Katina Davidson, Curator, Indigenous Australian Art, and Ellie Buttrose, Curator, Contemporary Australian Art, for an introduction to ‘Embodied Knowledge: Queensland Contemporary Art’. Profiling 19 talented artists and collectives, ‘Embodied Knowledge’ is a snapshot of the art being made in Queensland today. The exhibition includes projects that are filled with humour and verve, that circulate underacknowledged histories, share tactics of cultural resilience, respond to our changing relationship to both the natural and digital world, and play with physical extensions and corporeal memories. Free for Members, $10 for Members’ guests / Book online, email members@qagoma.qld.gov.au or call (07) 3840 7278
