What to Expect

This program is designed for children aged from 7-12 years. If you are unsure whether the program is the right fit for your child, or if you have any access needs or other queries about the event, please don’t hesitate to contact childrensartcentre@qagoma.qld.gov.au in advance of the program. Sensory aspects

The workshop will be held in an indoor space.

The workshop space will be lit via natural and artificial light.

The workshop will be tactile in nature and involve paper, scissors and glue.

A hearing loop is available on request. Please let us know ahead of time if your child requires a hearing loop.

Capacity

Each workshop has a maximum capacity of 14 children.

Participation and content

Bookings essential.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at this program

This program will take place at the GOMA Seminar Room for the whole duration. All materials are provided.

Food and drink

For the safety of artworks, food and drink can only be consumed outside the Gallery. Open food and drink containers are not allowed in the exhibition spaces.

Financial hardship

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact us at childrensartcentre@qagoma.qld.gov.au to request a reduced fee for this workshop.
