About Vanessa Allegra

Vanessa Allegra is a contemporary figurative artist specializing in oils and graphite, with a distinctive focus on themes of womanhood, feminism, and the human form. Known for her bold, thick brushstrokes, harsh lighting, and vibrant colours, Vanessa’s work explores the intersection of history, memory and the present. Her work in graphite has a focus on reclaiming the naked female body, shifting the historic narrative of sexualisation into one of simple and powerful representation.
