About

Join West End State School Senior Choir for a performance of ‘The Sounds of Brisbane’ 2024, a song that celebrates the students’ experiences of growing up in multilingual households and neighbourhoods.

This piece was created for Triennial artist, Okui Lala’s video project, Have you ever tried to listen to the sound of Brisbane? 2024, composed by West End State School Music Specialists Elizabeth Flynn and Rebecca Hoole.

The 12.30pm performance will be Auslan Interpreted.

This program was created in collaboration with Brisbane City Council.
