‘Creative Generation: In Residence’ is an annual three-day program delivered in collaboration with the Department of Education that provides Year 10 students from across Queensland the opportunity to work closely with an artist as they learn and experiment with new processes and techniques.
Nominations for the 2025 program open in July.

In 2024, students worked closely with lead artist Sancintya Mohini Simpson and participated in paper and pigment making workshops under the guidance of Melissa Stannard at the Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD).
