Discover the stories behind the design, materials, and spaces that shape the visitor experience. Led by passionate Volunteer Guides, these special tours offer a rare glimpse into the history, vision, and structure of one of Brisbane’s most loved cultural destinations.

Please meet at the QAG Stanley Place reception desk (entrance closest to the State Library of Queensland)

What To Expect

Participation and content

  • You are welcome to come with a friend or by yourself. Many people attend the Gallery solo.
  • This event has a capacity of 15 attendees.
  • The tours are designed as a space to ask questions and engage in respectful discussion. You can participate in discussion, ask questions, or just listen.
