Music | Camp Cope

9.00–9.45pm, Sat 18 Mar

Maiwar Green Stage, GOMA

Founded in Melbourne over home job tattoos, Camp Cope – Georgia Maq, Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich and Sarah 'Thomo' Thompson – pen songs that play on the most vulnerable minutiae of everyday life, and together have evolved into a true force to be reckoned with. Their newly expanded live show, featuring renowned musician Jennifer Aslett on guitar and backing vocals, builds on the live intimacy that Camp Cope has become known for around the world. Their new album Running with the Hurricane (2022) has seen the band step into a new light, more confident and in control than ever, with The New York Times, NPR, Pitchfork, triple j and NME counted among its many fans.

Please note: There’s been a change in Camp Cope's Air Up Late show on Saturday 18 March, at GOMA - two band members are unwell and unable to travel. Georgia Maq will be taking you right back to the band's early days and playing Camp Cope songs solo. This will be Camp Cope’s last ever show in Queensland, and it’s quite special for them to be going out how they started.
