The Star tells the Biblical story of the Nativity through the eyes of a wide-eyed, plucky little donkey named Bo (voiced by Steven Yeun) and his animal friends. There’s voice talent aplenty with Keegan-Michael Key, Tracy Morgan and Oprah Winfrey among many others. Director Reckart, Oscar-nominated for his stop-motion short Head Over Heels, chose CG animation for his feature film debut, executive produced by Lisa Henson and Brian Henson.
