About
Encouraged by the success of his first Edgar Allan Poe adaptation House of Usher 1960, Roger Corman returned to the works of the gothic author for this spine-tingling mystery. Set in 16th Century Spain, the film finds aristocrat Nicholas Medina (Vincent Price) haunted by the ghoulish circumstances of his late wife's death. When her brother arrives seeking an explanation as to her passing, horrible new mysteries begin to unravel.
