Frank Oz makes his solo directing debut by taking the Muppets to New York city to tread the boards in their musical, ‘Manhattan Melodies’, but will any producer take a chance on them?

Like its predecessors, this film takes full advantage of grounding the Muppets in the real world, shooting in iconic locations like the Empire State Building, Central Park, famed eatery Sardi’s, and of course Broadway. Notable cameos to look out for include comedienne Joan Rivers, actor/dancer Gregory Hines and musical legend Liza Minelli.
