About
Taking the helm of the Jim Henson Company after the death of his father, Brian Henson made his feature film directorial debut with A Muppet Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens' classic novel is brought to life by Kermit the Frog, Gonzo, Miss Piggy and a whole ensemble of Muppets in this iconic musical delight. When the miserable Ebenezer Scrooge (a rancorous Michael Caine) is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, he discovers that there is a happier life for him if he only opens his heart to the kindness in the world and learns the true meaning of Christmas. Featuring beloved songs such as Marley and Marley and It Feels Like Christmas, Henson junior delivers one of the great screen adaptations of Dickens' famed tale.
