About
Inspired by the A B 'Banjo' Patterson epic poem The Man from Snowy River is an iconic Australian Western. It follows the story of headstrong Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson) who decides to head to the Snowy Mountains and work for a powerful cattle baron (Kirk Douglas). Problems arise when he is drawn into a 20 year family feud and falls in love with the boss's daughter Jessica (Sigrid Thornton). Amidst it all Craig sets out to prove his worth by capturing the fabled wild horse 'the colt from Old Regret'.
