This live-action film is known for being one of the more faithful adaptations of Collodi’s classic tale of a wooden marionette who longs to be a real boy. It features late screen legends Martin Landau, who brings gravitas to Geppetto, and Udo Kier as rival puppeteer Lorenzini, replete with classic villain’s moustache, among the star-studded cast.
