Puppeteer Henk Boerwinkel and his wife Ans founded the Figurentheater Triangel in the Dutch town of Meppel, staging performances in their attic theatre, as well as touring the world to perform in theatrical and puppetry festivals. Jim interviews the couple about the evolution of their work using marionettes, masks, hand and rod puppets. Their often-surreal characters and imagery incorporate magical realism and dark humour to explore universal anxieties of the human condition.
