When Gizmo the adorable Mogwai is taken to a genetic engineering laboratory for testing, he is reunited with his former owner Billy Pelzer (Zach Galligan). However, things get out of hand when an accidental water spill spawns a host of gremlins, who begin sampling genetic serums in the laboratory with chaotic results. Billy and his friends must use all their ingenuity to contain the outbreak!
