Sleep-disturbed security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) struggles to makes ends meet and take care of his little sister Abby (Piper Rubio). When career counsellor Steve (Matthew Lillard) offers him an ‘easy’ gig at an abandoned 80s pizzeria, it isn’t long before Mike’s vivid nightmares of a childhood trauma distort the creepy reality of his nocturnal job.
Based on the popular video game of the same name, Five Nights at Freddy's 2D creatures are realised as menacing 3D monsters: animatronic entertainers Freddy Fazbear and friends have a life of their own and murder on their mechanical minds.
