The August ‘Long Haul’ screening is presented across three days, showcasing the extraordinary documentary exergue – on documenta 14. Utilising the unique texture of its compelling 14 hours, the film offers a view into the rarefied realm of the contemporary art world.

Director Dimitris Athiridis closely follows the curator who has been selected as the new Artistic Director of one of the most prominent and prestigious exhibitions on the art calendar: documenta. Artistic director Adam Szymczyk and his curatorial team allow open access to their research process, negotiations and struggles to the filmmaker — a process that is historically confidential. This unprecedented, behind-the-scenes film examines the controversy, curatorial decisions and the heated criticism of documenta 14, one of the world’s most ambitious art exhibitions.
