SYNOPSIS

The Thomas Crown Affair will screen from an imported 35mm print.

A remake of the 1968 heist film of the same name, this romantic thriller casts Pierce Brosnan as Thomas Crown, a billionaire thief who is driven by the thrill of thievery. After Crown successfully steals a Monet painting worth $100 million from the Met Museum, insurance investigator Catherine Banning (Rene Russo) is ordered to get up close and personal with Crown to solve the case. Unable to shoot inside the Museum itself, the filmmakers built their own version of the Met on set to shoot the high-stakes opening heist.
