Mabo is an enthralling biopic of one of Australia's most significant figures. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rachel Perkins, the film delves into the life of Eddie 'Koiki' Mabo. It explores his early adulthood, his relationship with his wife Bonita Mabo, and the activism that would lead him to the High Court  for the case that would overturn the fiction of terra nullius and mark one of the great turning points in modern Australian history.
