SYNOPSIS

Oldboy is a poetic masterpiece that interweaves darkly existential themes with ice-black humour and ultra-violent scenes of vengeance. An ordinary Seoul businessman is inexplicably kidnapped and locked away in a low rent hotel for 15 years. On the brink of madness, he is abruptly released. Left with a new suit and cell-phone he is given five days to discover the reason behind his horrific experience and extract his revenge.
