About
When a young, newly-widowed flight attendant has a one-night stand during a layover in Paris, she finds herself becoming dangerously obsessed with her new fling.
Director Nathan Silver, one of the bold new voices of American independent cinema, has crafted a lean and lurid homage to 1970s European eroticism in Thirst Street. As Gina, Lindsay Burdge delivers a performance both sympathetic and perilously fraught as her character descends down a path of no return pursuing her object of desire. Cinematographer Sean Price Williams (who also shot the instant cult favourite Good Time 2017) soaks the screen in Fassbinder-inspired reds and greens while the Parisian backstreets seem to curl claustrophobically around the characters.
