The Lost Thing 2010 dir. Shaun Tan (15 mins)

"A boy finds a strange creature on a beach and decides to find a home for it in a world where everyone believes there are far more important things to think about." Screen Australia

Martha the Monster 2017 dir. Christopher Weekes (15 mins)

"In an upside-down world, where humans live alongside kids television show monsters, Martha, a 20-something softly-spoken orange-furred creature, is having a crisis of identity. Unable to fit in as either monster or human, one incredible day she’s pushed to her very limit, only to discover it’s “okay to be different”." Screen Australia

A Cautionary Tail 2012 dir. Simon Rippingale (15 mins)

"A Cautionary Tail is a modern fable about a little girl born with a tail that expresses her emotions. As a child, her parents celebrate their daughter’s eloquent appendage, and her tail inspires magical make-believe adventures with her friends. Later, as our hero grows up, she is ostracised for her difference and is forced to choose between conformity and self-expression." Screen Australia

7 Sisters 2012 dir. E. Napaljarri Katakarinja, Fernandez Shoveller, Sarah Wallingford, Rongomai Bailey, Tangiora Hinaki, Chloe James, Sheree Rose & Jonathan Daw (2:42 mins)

"A short film made during workshops at the Remote Indigenous Media Festival in Irrunytju (Wingellina) 2017. Featuring Pitjantjatjara elder Pantjiti McKenzie telling the story of the Seven Sisters Tjukurrpa." Jonathan Daw

Lost and Found 2018 dir. Andrew Goldsmith, Bradley Slabe (8 mins)

"Inside a Japanese restaurant, a knitted dinosaur and a knitted fox are in love. Suddenly, the fox begins to drown. The dinosaur desperately tries to reach her but gets caught on a nail. The closer he gets, the more he unravels. Running, jumping and dodging, he doesn't give up - even when the fox tries to prevent him from sacrificing himself. The dinosaur just rescues the fox, but is now a single thread. The fox gathers her love into a ball of yarn and drags them both back home. Maybe she could knit him back together, maybe not¦ but she would never give up." Wabi Sabi Studios
