Dr Ann Stephen (Senior Curator, University Art Gallery and Art Collection, The University of Sydney) examines the work of Grace Cossington Smith, one of Australia's most celebrated 20th century painters and important early exponent of modernism in Australia. Gain insights into Cossington Smith's approach to modernism through her glowing and intimate landscapes depicting her home in Sydney's outer suburbs.
