Tune in and draw along in these virtual workshops with artist Dr Bill Platz. Discover tips for approaching drawing and take inspiration from artworks in ‘European Masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’. You’ll be virtually transported to Bill’s studio and invited to draw from live costumed models. Session 1 | Laying in Wet Ground The dead don’t draw, but they inhabit the life drawing studio! Explore the deep connections between mortality and life drawing, experiment with dramatic perspective and foreshortening, and learn a historical technique for creating a unique surface for your drawing.
