About
Iconic and uncompromising, Lydia Lunch is a poet, actress and vocalist who made her mark in the no wave scene playing in seminal bands Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, 8 Eyed Spy and Beirut Slump. In 1980, her debut solo album Queen of Siam featured a groundbreaking combination of jazz and noise that influenced generations of underground bands and artists. Lunch continues to produce music and collaborate with musicians including Sonic Youth, Nick Cave, Henry Rollins and Michael Gira. She returns to Australia with her all-star cast of sonic brutarians in a no-holds-barred survey of her musical output from 1977 to the present.
