About
For the safety of our community, all public programs, events and tours have been cancelled until further notice. We thank you for your understanding.
NAIDOC Week is held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’ recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.
On this tour, Katina Davidson, Acting Curator, Indigenous Australian Art, QAGOMA will highlight and celebrate the work of indigenous artists from Mavis Ngallametta, to Albert Namatjira and Richard Bell.
